UMPIRING CLINIC FOR BASESBALL & SOFTBALL BEING OFFERED
![]() A baseball and softball umpiring clinic will be offered for anyone interested in officiating youth summer baseball and softball games in Rockford, Willshire, and/or Mendon for the upcoming summer season. The clinic will be held on Saturday, May 5th from 5:00-8:00pm at Shanes Park in Rockford. Participants who attend the clinic will receive three hours of umpiring instruction and a printed umpiring manual with league rules. The participants' contact information will also be sent to all of the coaches within these towns as they look to assign summer umpires. Participation is free and open to any male or female age 14+ in the area who is interested in umpiring in Rockford, Willshire, or Mendon. If you are unable to attend the May 5th clinic but would still like to be added to the "Umpire Contact List" for the 2018 season, you can provide your information before May 5th to be included on the list.

CLAYTON AGLER SIGNS TO PLAY FOR LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY
Clayton Agler is the son of Michelle and Brent Agler of Rockford, Ohio. He has signed his letter of intent to play baseball for Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconson. Lawrence University is a division 3 school that, ironically, plays in the Midwest Athletic Conference. Clayton will be play infield and also as a relief pitcher, he has been a staple on the varsity roster for Parkway the last four years.
